Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
California residents' opt-out request under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
What Vaticin does and does not do with your data
Vaticin does not currently sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising (the kind of ad-targeting that follows you across other websites). Under California law, neither activity is part of how the Platform operates today.
We do disclose limited data to vendors who help us run the service (for example, our email provider receives the address we're sending a transactional message to, and our analytics provider — Plausible Analytics — receives anonymous, cookieless page-view counts). These vendors are bound by contract to use the data only to provide their service to us, which is not a “sale” or “share” under CCPA / CPRA. Section 3 of our Privacy Policy lists every service provider in detail.
Because we do not currently sell or share your personal information, submitting this form will not change the data we collect today. It will, however, place a permanent opt-out record on your account so that if Vaticin ever adopts a practice that would qualify as a sale or share under California law, your information will be excluded from it by default — without you needing to submit the form again.
Who can submit this request
California residents may submit this opt-out at any time, free of charge, and without creating a Vaticin account. CCPA § 1798.135 requires this path to be available to everyone, so we accept submissions from non-California residents as well — though the statutory protections only apply to California residents.
You can submit the request on behalf of someone else only if you are their authorised agent and have the documentation required under California Code of Regulations § 7063 (a written, signed authorisation from the consumer or a power of attorney). Email the documentation to support@vaticin.ai before or alongside the form submission. We may need to verify the consumer's identity directly before honouring the request.
What we do with your request
- We log the request in our internal “Do Not Sell or Share” register with a timestamp, the email address you provide, and the IP address of the submission (used only for fraud-detection and audit purposes).
- If the email matches an existing Vaticin account, we attach the opt-out flag to that account so future data flows respect it automatically.
- We send a confirmation email to the address you provide. If you do not receive it within 15 minutes, please check your spam folder and then contact support.
- We respond to the request within 15 business days as required by CCPA § 1798.130(a)(2).
We will not discriminate against you for submitting this request. Your account, if any, continues to function exactly as it did before. Bet history, leaderboards, and access to the Platform are unaffected.
Global Privacy Control
Vaticin honours the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request under CPRA § 7025. If your browser sends Sec-GPC: 1 with its requests, we will treat that as a do-not-sell-or-share signal for the duration of the session — no form submission required. Submitting this form additionally creates a persistent, account-level record that is not tied to a specific browser.
